Last night’s Affirmative Prayer: Align With Your Truth workshop through Cityside Center for Spiritual Living was nothing short of energizing. I’m still feeling the beautiful ripple effects of gathering together in community, sharing faith, and remembering one simple, profound truth: we are powerful by our very nature, as children of God.
Transformation Is Yours For the Taking
There’s something truly transformative about stepping into a space where you are invited not just to believe in something greater—but to believe in yourself as an expression of that greatness. Affirmative Prayer isn’t about asking for something outside of us to intervene. It’s about recognizing that there is a power for good in the universe greater than we are, and we can use it—as Ernest Holmes so perfectly put it.
During the workshop, we explored how aligning with this truth shifts everything. It shifts our prayers from pleading to declaring. It shifts our outlook from wishing to knowing. And most importantly, it shifts how we see ourselves—from limited beings trying to get by, to empowered creators aligned with divine intelligence and love.
Energy Matters
I could feel the energy in the room build as each person embraced their own inner power more fully. There was a palpable sense of peace, hope, and renewed purpose that filled the space. It’s a reminder to all of us: when we accept the truth of who we are, we naturally become vessels for healing, change, and miracles.
